The Challenge

The new Stanford Hospital offers the most advanced care in a healing environment created to meet the needs of the whole person—socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically. Led the communications to support the construction and opening of the new Stanford Hospital project at 500 Pasteur Drive in Palo Al

The Strategy

  • Managed the new Stanford Hospital opening celebration campaign, coordinating the opening events across stakeholder groups including Stanford Health Care, School of Medicine, Stanford University and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
  • Directed message development and creation, video production, and the development of a new app.

Results

  • Cultivated national and local earned media successes for milestones around the opening of the new Stanford Hospital, including 12 broadcast segments, 2 podcasts and 31 print articles in one weekend
  • Proactively directed a team to promote story-telling using photography, videography, graphic standards, publications, website development and events
  • Initiated collaboration across multiple organizations to synthesize information and engage stakeholders
